Introducing Many Mind Consulting: Driving growth for technology firms

The idea behind Many Mind Consulting is something that jumped into my thoughts many years ago - although the decision to execute on the idea is somewhat more recent. Throughout my career I have been extremely lucky to have had the experience of working with some of the most successful startups in the FinTech space, specifically with bleeding edge trading technology, while also fortunate enough to have been able to spend time working in various roles at larger publicly traded companies. Almost every startup founder desires to be the CEO of a public company some day but the balance of growth, while still maintaining agility and the ability to “get stuff done” becomes more difficult over time. Many Mind Consulting is expertly placed to help fill that gap and help smaller firms grow to a position of success by providing services which help grow the company holistically and not simply concentrating on one key area which may be challenging at that point in time.

Over the next few months I’ll share some ideas via this blog as to the philosophy of Many Mind Consulting, but for now this is simply and introductory post that will give a little background on what we do and where the name comes from.

While searching for a name to call the company, I looked out of my home office window, lots of potential names jumped into my brain, but a little creek nearby caught my eye. Many Mind Creek is a natural waterway which receives rain water that drains from a large land area of Atlantic Highlands, NJ. When early Europeans arrived in the area in mid-1660s, they decided on flatlands along the west bank of the creek for settlement. Exploring the creek, they discovered its headwaters starts in the eastern hills, goes south for about 3/4 of a mile, turns west/north-northwest for around half-a-mile, and finally heads north for approximately half-a-mile before emptying into Sandy Hook Bay. So often does the creek change its mind about where to go that the colonists named it Many Mind Creek. The name Many Mind Consulting was chosen to embody the ever changing landscape of many technology firms and represent the constant desire to flow to something bigger.
